President Akufo-Addo has appointed Ms.Jane Cynthia Naa Korshie Lamptey as the Deputy Special Prosecutor.
She was a former acting Director of Public Prosecution and has been a lawyer for more than 30 years.
Speaker of Parliament, Mike Oquaye disclosed this following an emergency recall of Parliament in Accra on Thursday, to ratify the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area.
He has subsequently referred Ms. Lamptey’s nomination to the Appointments Committee for consideration.
