The Electoral Commission has announced that it will declare the winner of the 2020 presidential elections results by 5pm today at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The declaration will be done by the Chairperson of the EC, Jean Mensa, who is also the returning officer for the presidential election.
Prior to the election, the EC assured that it will declare the results in 24 hours after the polls end on December.
In the past, results have been declared after 48 hours.
However, the chairperson of the EC said the commission has deployed all the necessary material to enable it declare the elections in 24 hours.
